On April 23, 2024, at the request of Akita Road Maintenance Support center, an NPO in Akita, we outlined our in-development offshore wind project at their first technical workshop in Fiscal 2024. The center has been conducting a wide range of training activities for civil engineers in both public and private sectors in Akita Prefecture, including workshops, on-site training, and seminars aimed at improving their technical skills in the maintenance, repair and reinforcement of road infrastructures. 92 people, mainly engineers, attended the workshop on that day.
We received questions from the participants about wind turbines and noise during construction etc., which is the sign of their high interest in offshore wind businesses.
In Akita, which is actively promoting the deployment of renewable energy, we will continue to work hard to gain the understanding from as many people as possible for the smooth execution of our offshore wind business.
